Bleach is extremely toxic to humans, pets, wildlife, aquatic life, and the environment. There are several reasons why sodium hypochlorite is considered a poisonous and hazardous substance. It destroys the microbiome, increases your risk of cancer, increases the rate of miscarriage and preterm birth, release dangerous gases into the air, increases respiratory illness, encourages mold growth, and is corrosive to your skin & eyes. Bleach truly has no place in our homes.
